They do this by using calcium and carbonate ions in seawater to create limestone skeletons like the one this print is inspired by. These structures are home to some of the most biologically diverse habitats on Earth and help protect coastal communities from storms and hurricanes. 5% of sales will be donated to University of Miami's Rescue a Reef, a non-profit organization that protects and revives coral ecosystems through innovative techniques, citizen science expeditions, and spreading awareness about the importance of coral conservation.
